Roberta Stewart is President of the Prince George Crime Stoppers Association. A resident of Prince George since 2003, Roberta originally hails from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. In addition to her community work, Roberta and her fiancé are busy planning their wedding for this November.

Prince George Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization focused on bringing the community together to assist with reducing and solving crimes. It operates in cooperation with the local RCMP and other community groups that are working to improve the quality of life in Prince George. Meeting monthly, the Board of Directors aim to raise awareness about crime-stoppers’ community programs.

If anyone in the community has information about an unsolved crime, they can contact Crime Stoppers by the toll-free tip line (1-800-222-TIPS) or visit their website at: www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca. Reports can be made 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If the information leads to an arrest, the individual is entitled to a cash reward of up to $2,000.00. Crime Stoppers tips are completely anonymous and the tipster never has to give his or her name or appear in court as a witness.
