Julie O’Reilly is the Community Awareness and Supports Coordinator for AimHi – the Prince George Association for Community Living. Julie’s goal is to raise awareness about the important projects and events that will help to build community connections.
Julie also runs a program called Family Support that has two employees who help to support families who are raising a child with a disability. Julie says Jane and Anne are phenomenal at assisting families with navigating community resource and service systems.
She was born and raised in Prince George. Her husband Alan runs the Smoke House Kitchen Project and the River Room Café at the Native Friendship Centre. She likes the people and friendships she has made while working at AimHi.
AimHi supports children who have special needs, adults with developmental disabilities and their families. Through advocacy, services, support and education, AimHi fosters a community where people are celebrated for their abilities and contributions.
