Angela Willis is the Arts Coordinator for the Community Arts Council of Prince George and District.  She was born and raised in Oxfordshire, England before moving to Canada in 1985.  She lived in many cities from Toronto to Victoria before moving to Prince George with husband Barry four years ago.  She has worked at the Community Arts Council for nearly two years. 

Angela previously worked for an arts council in Belleville, Ontario and loved the experience.  She enjoys planning events and having the opportunity to work with local artists and artists from across the country who attend the Community Arts Council’s Studio Fair.

 


The Community Arts Council supports, encourages and promotes all the arts in Prince George by raising the level of excellence and providing creative growth in the arts community. 

The Council is located at 2820-2880 15th Avenue and provides a wide range of services including: Arts Gallery of Honour, Artists Directory, Artisan Gift Shoppe, Artists in the Schools, Community Access Program, Preschool for the Arts, Summer Day Camp of the Arts, scholarships, Spring Arts Bazaar, Studio Fair and offering a ticket centre.



The Community Arts Council hosts its Open House on Thursday, April 26 from 2-4pm.  The Spring Arts Bazaar is scheduled for Saturday, June 16 from 10am-3pm and the Studio Fair will run from November 2-4 at the Civic Centre.

The Council is always looking for more volunteers, especially for their special events such as the Spring Arts Bazaar and Studio Fair.  You can get more information about the Community Arts Council on their website at www.studio2880.com.
